Versatile actor Vikram will soon be known as Dr. Vikram. A university in Italy has decided to confer honorary doctorate on him for his outstanding contribution to cinema with his acting.
The doctorate will be conferred on him at a function in Italy on May 29.
Vikram made a name for himself with films like Aparichithudu, Mallanna etc. He is a big hero in Tamil but has a good following in Telugu as well as Kannada and Malayalam.
